    2. Voltage adjustment (VOLT)
Before starting up, the voltage setting potentiometer can be adjusted counterclockwise (the factory has been set to 400V), and the external potentiometer port is short-circuited. When the generator set runs normally and reaches the rated speed, the potentiometer is adjusted clockwise and the voltage rises, and vice versa. Decrease until the output voltage meets the requirements.
If you need to adjust the external voltage, you can disconnect the external potentiometer port connection line on the AVR and connect a potentiometer. Because the external port of the AVR is live, if you want to install an externally controlled voltage trimming potentiometer, the potentiometer must be To ensure good insulation, it is recommended to use an all-plastic multi-turn potentiometer. If a metal shell potentiometer is used, its shell must be grounded!
    3. Stability adjustment (STAB)
Adjusting the "STAB" potentiometer can stabilize the output voltage of the generator, but excessive adjustment will increase the instantaneous voltage fluctuation rate of the generator under heavy load. It is recommended to run the generator with no load, check whether the speed is correct and stable, turn the "STAB" potentiometer fully counterclockwise, and then slowly rotate clockwise until the generator voltage starts to fluctuate. The correct setting is to rotate slightly counterclockwise from this position (that is, the voltage is stable at this point, but it should be very close to the unstable zone)
    4. Excitation:
When the residual magnetization voltage of the generator is insufficient to make the AVR build up the voltage, it must be excited from the outside. After the engine starts running, use a 12V battery. The negative pole of the battery is connected to F- of the AVR, and the positive pole of the battery is connected through a (5A) diode. The F+ of the AVR stops the excitation when the generator voltage is established at 2
