    • Install MPPT indoors. Prevent touch with components and do not allow water to enter the controller.

    1. Unplug the RTS, the temperature of battery will be set to a fixed value 25 ºC.
    2. Please connect the inverter to the battery rather than to the controller, if the inverter is necessary.
    3. The RS-485 port and RTS port is not SELV circuit, it must have isolation between the port and the place where the end user can access directly.

    The selection of a solar controller follows two inequalities:

    1. The maximum allowable open-circuit voltage of the controller > Open-circuit voltage of the solar panel > Battery voltage

    2. Rated current of the controller > Power of the solar panel ÷ (Battery voltage + X) (X: Usually 1/12 of the battery voltage)
