Because the burning of firewood involves extremely high temperatures, stainless steel is prone to blackening. This is normal and will not affect your regular usage.
How does the handle of the product work?
When the handle is positioned upward, the air intake is enhanced, facilitating the quick ignition of firewood. Conversely, the air outlet is sheltered from the wind, promoting the swift and complete combustion of firewood into charcoal.

When starting out the fire, all you need do isadjust the knob to allow the bottom air intake to allow sufficientoxygen supply to the combustion chamber. Once the firewood becaomescarbonized, you may stop the bottom air intake. This ensures that thecarbon keeps buring for longer periods.
